Buckhorn Lake

Go 17 km south on Highway 97, then 12 km down Buckhorn Lake Road. Brookies and Rainbow trout. Facilities include campsite and cartop launch.
Tumuch Lake

Go 75 km east on Highway 16, then 22 km south on Bowron River Forest Road and 26 km on Tumuch Access Road. Rainbows, Dollies and Whitefish.
Tabor Lake

Just 10 km east of downtown. Small Rainbow trout. Boat launch at north end of lake.
Eaglet Lake

East 40 km on Highway 16, past Willow River and eight km through the Giscome area. Harold Mann Regional Park borders Eaglet Lake. Spring fishing is the best for Rainbow trout and Burbot.
